Buffalo Soldiers Golf Tournament

So, it's been awhile since I have posted on my blog! I have been so busy with gigs and working. There isn't enough time in one day to get all of this work done, but hey it's what I want! I actually would love to be even busier, but you got to crawl before you walk!
I had the pleasure of photographing a golf tournament for the Buffalo Soldiers! It was pretty cool. I got a chance to meet Miss Florida and Robbie & Ginger Howard! For those of you that aren't too golf savvy, Miss Robbie and Ginger are said to be Venus and Serena on the golf course! It was such an honor to meet those two young ladies with such drive! It was such an experience for me, considering that I was sick the whole time I did it, but when I make a commitment I have to go with that! I'm definitely not complaining at all, because I got to give out business cards for potential customers! Got to love networking!
I hope you all love the pictures as much as I do!

Katherine "Gata" Arce Columbian/Puerto Rican Bombshell!

Man, this girl was on fire! I loved every minute of her shoot. She did everything I asked her to, and she also had some good ideas as well. Not to mention the clothing she was wearing was designed by none other than Ms. Elizabeth Carson Racker. Her clothing was amazing and the clothes photographed so well. The model had a lot to do with that too. We shot at her studio in Ybor City.

I met her at a shoot I was doing for the modeling agency and I couldn't pass up a good opportunity so I got her information and the rest is history! I can't wait to shoot with her again! sn: Take notice of the main picture, that's one of her close ups from the shoot!!!!

My Chic Bad!

My chic bad, my chic hood, my chic do stuff that your chic wish she could!
These photos are from some of the ladies that will be in a fashion show on August 1, 2010 at Club Nouveau! The models were really down to earth and they were really feeling the photoshoot. I love when I have models that don't care what's done as long as they look good in the picture...
These three ladies are the feature in the fashion show, so we had to get a sweet photoshoot going so they fliers will be extra sweet!!!! I think we came up with a good idea....I hope the audience loves it as much as we do!

Rare. Inspirational. Visual. Insight

So I have been shooting for the modeling agency here lately and the photos have been turning out very good. I have had the opportunity to work with a few good models! Although it has been a lot of work for me, I take every experience to be a step toward the better!

The name of the agency is RIVI models which stands for rare. inspirational. visual. insight! Pretty good name, I think! The models are all aspiring models and they definitely fit the name of the agency to a T...Hard work will definitely pay off in the end, I'm sure of this! Some of the models are just now starting out, so it was a little difficult to get in the groove like the rest of them were doing...but once you get in front of my camera as they learned its smooth sailing...I definitely know how to get them to calm down and just go with the flow! It's nothing like being comfortable in order to get the image you want!

VINTAGE @ Buffalo Gal

So as you can see from my main picture, I had a chance to do some VINTAGE photography! What a blast! I loved every minute of it. The shoot was a 6 hour shoot, and I ended up with 2200 photos to choose from! Of course I got some amazing images...the models were awesome! A special thanks to Buffalo Gal for letting me use the space and for posting my work on their website! Not to mention the clothing that was used in this shoot dated from all the way back in 1920...WHOA!!! How awesome is that!!!! Also a thanks to the models especially Mary-Catherine! She was there all day with me and she never complained and she got the job done! I hope you all enjoy the photos!!!!

P H O T O G R A P H E R!

Finally some photos of me! Lilly did an awesome job...to be honest I got nervous when the camera was on me, so now I know how some of you may feel. But after a few secs of shooting I was good to go! She got some really great photos of me.
Yesterday, I was talking to this guy and he was telling me how much he liked my work. He also said "thats what i mean its more than a job its a lifestyle for you. its not a task its completion." This quote really stood out to me, because I believe this guy gets it! That's exactly how I feel about photography. Things are going good with it and I am appreciating all the love I have been receiving and all the experiences I have been through. God is really taking part in this talent here, I thank him so much for blessing me with "the eye".
Once again thank you to everyone that has been showing me so much support! Watch me grow into the photographer that I know I can be!!!! Lots of Love!

Introducing Bananas male #1....Ahmad Jenkins!

Hey there! So yesterday I did a shoot with a young man by the name of Ahmad Jenkins. He did such a great job, and not to mention he is very handsome! I know a lot of women are going to go crazy over these photos. The guy has it! He is great looking, great body, nice personality, what more can you ask for. A lot of people don't know yet, but he is my first guy to shoot that's going to be in the calendar! These pics will not be the pics, but they were just to give you a little taste of what's to come! I'm so excited....

Women stay tuned, because more Bananas males will be coming soon...

Models in the making....

OMG! These kids are the cutest ever...the little boy is Maleeq and the little girl is Laila! For both of these shoots, they didn't need much coaching, they just did what they wanted to do! I love that though. I like when I have to try and catch up with the subject! These two definitely did just that. At first, I thought it was going to be a "dubious undertaking" but once things got going and they filled me out "it was on."

Kids make days brighter. They do and say the craziest things!
Although both of these shoots were done in two different states and two different times, the kids both had something in common. Maleeq wanted to play on the sliding board, while Laila wanted to see the boats! Their attention was else where, but they also gave me enough to make some of the cutest little masterpieces!!!

Mr. & Mrs. Hall...

What a day this was! I started taking photos around 12:30 and didn't get done until around 8:30. I loved every minute of it! Tiffany didn't seem like she was nervous at all, neither did Gerard! I was telling someone that same thing, and they said that's how you know when it's right, there is no room for jitters! They are meant to be together!

Not to mention, it was packed in there! The ceremony was full and the reception was too! I hope you two have a great life together! God is definitely by each one of you!!!!

So this past weekend, I photographed a Sweet 16 b-day party! I had a great time. There were alot of good moments that only a great photographer could have captured. I feel blessed I was the photographer of choice! Go SevenThirteen! This young lady, Erykah, was so excited to have this Polo themed party. You only turn 16 once, so why not have a blast!

Converses anyone?

So a lot of you know that I have been doing this ongoing project of shooting Converses! This project idea was given to me by a dear friend that I met at VA Tech! I got my first pair when I photographed my roomie! The idea was born from that photo! I love the progress of this project, and I also love where this project is going. I have gotten some cool "Chucks." If you know of anyone that has converses, just send them my way! This project is definitely a big one in the making! I can feel it!

Candice and the bunch!

These family portraits were awesome! It was a great day on the beach, and the wind was blowing just right along with the sun not being there as much! We picked the perfect time to go...at first, the kids didn't seem like they wanted to do this, all they really wanted to do was play in the water...but let's be serious here, what kid doesn't like to play at the beach!!! But I had a great time shooting these, and they came out great! These photos definitely spell out one word FAMILY!
