The many sides to Sheenae Mack!

Sheenae was awesome in her photo shoot! She was daring and definitely let me have my way with the camera. Her photos turned out great! We were located at the pier in downtown St. Pete. The weather wasn't all that great, but she managed to hold it together and suck it up! Thank you so much Sheenae, for an awesome shoot. Once I edited these photos, I realized I think I can make someone into a model, or at least make you feel like one!

During this session, I heard Sheenae say several times "I didn't know I could take pics like these." I'm glad I was the one that showed her otherwise!

Adrian aka Deuce!

Deuce was a joy to photograph. In his session I just let him be him, and followed him around with the camera. The portraits I captured really showed off what it means to be a little boy. He's a born natural! While in the session if I asked Deuce to do something he definitely did it and made it his own! Not to mention this session was done at 10:00 pm. What kid do you know has so much energy, and feels like taking pictures. This is what surprised me the most with him. He was so ready, and I think he really liked the bright lights! Thank you so much Deuce for being such a good sport! Go HOKIES!

"Before, I do" Gerard and Tiffany

I had the opportunity of photographing my long time best friend Tiffany, and her Fiance, Gerard! Engagement photos are pretty awesome! I captured some really good moments in this session. There is no doubt in my mind that these two are definitely in love! I wish you guys the best in the future. May God bless the two of you!

Here's their story:
Gerard and Tiffany met as friends in 2003 through their mutual friend, Dyverynce. Attending an induction ceremony of a new organization on Virginia Tech's campus, Gerard chatted with Tiffany and a group of her friends from Radford during the event. Both dating other individuals at the time, it was nothing more than casual friendship during our first introduction. It was not until years of continued friendship that we started to get closer in our friendship, and on May 22, 2007 decided to make it official to pursue each other in courtship.

December 2, 2008

The Monday prior was her birthday and her friends showed Gerard up by getting Tiffany a Tony Romo jersey and a plane ticket to travel to Dallas to see a game. He was a little perturbed with the friends because he asked them to let him know what you all were going to do so that he could plan accordingly. Gerard gave her a gift and asked if he could give her the rest of it later...in which she hesitantly said yes. He knew he was going to get the ring when he went home but Gerard asked for the time because there was a store that specialized in team paraphernalia. So the night before, Gerard decided to wrap every gift individually and give it to her like that. H gave her the Cowboys stuff (it was about 4 things).

For the last gift, he looked at her and said 'I couldn't top your friends but here is something from the heart'. She opened it and saw it was a wedding planner. She looked like 'this is nice.....wait a minute....why does he....is he really about to....' and she just put her head down and started smiling and laughing. Gerard proposed to Tiffany and of course she said yes.

Blacksburg, Va was not ready for us!

So Cort and I went to Blacksburg, Va to hang out with our girls for Black Alumni weekend and to feel like undergrads again.

While we were there, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. asked Seven Thirteen photography to take photos of their ball. Oh what a time we had! We got a bunch of shoots that truly captured the essence of the ball through Cortney's eyes. We saw both VT alumni and current students who shared in the Hokie spirit and what Black Alumni weekend is all about.

The icing on the cake for us was when we found out that one of the MCs at the ball, who is a DJ on Power 92.1 in Richmond, VA gave Seven Thirteen Photography a shout out on the radio! It became clear that all of our blood, sweat and tears are finally starting to pay off!

Enough about our experience, view these photos so you can feel it for yourself.

From a Passion to a Lifestyle.

WOW! Things are really on the up and up for SevenThirteen Photography. We just recently came up with our tagline, "But look how you look." We felt that it embodied what type of photography that "we" as a company are trying to achieve.

SevenThirteen as a company wants you (the client) to feel your inner sexy, inner celebrity, inner model self etc. when you take portraits with us. It's an experience you should treat yourself to.

We look forward to all the projects we have coming up in the next few months, and also the future clients that will be part of SevenThirteen!

We also had the opportunity to photograph a young lady, Monique Burton with Trig Model Agency. Her session was an awesome one. This session alone has inspired so much! Monique, we thank you so much for your time. You were a joy to photograph, and we look forward to working with you in the future.

"But look how you look."
