Models in the making....

OMG! These kids are the cutest ever...the little boy is Maleeq and the little girl is Laila! For both of these shoots, they didn't need much coaching, they just did what they wanted to do! I love that though. I like when I have to try and catch up with the subject! These two definitely did just that. At first, I thought it was going to be a "dubious undertaking" but once things got going and they filled me out "it was on."

Kids make days brighter. They do and say the craziest things!
Although both of these shoots were done in two different states and two different times, the kids both had something in common. Maleeq wanted to play on the sliding board, while Laila wanted to see the boats! Their attention was else where, but they also gave me enough to make some of the cutest little masterpieces!!!

Mr. & Mrs. Hall...

What a day this was! I started taking photos around 12:30 and didn't get done until around 8:30. I loved every minute of it! Tiffany didn't seem like she was nervous at all, neither did Gerard! I was telling someone that same thing, and they said that's how you know when it's right, there is no room for jitters! They are meant to be together!

Not to mention, it was packed in there! The ceremony was full and the reception was too! I hope you two have a great life together! God is definitely by each one of you!!!!

It's my dawg Birthday! Happy Sweet 16, Erykah!

So this past weekend, I photographed a Sweet 16 b-day party! I had a great time. There were alot of good moments that only a great photographer could have captured. I feel blessed I was the photographer of choice! Go SevenThirteen! This young lady, Erykah, was so excited to have this Polo themed party. You only turn 16 once, so why not have a blast!

Converses anyone?

So a lot of you know that I have been doing this ongoing project of shooting Converses! This project idea was given to me by a dear friend that I met at VA Tech! I got my first pair when I photographed my roomie! The idea was born from that photo! I love the progress of this project, and I also love where this project is going. I have gotten some cool "Chucks." If you know of anyone that has converses, just send them my way! This project is definitely a big one in the making! I can feel it!

Candice and the bunch!

These family portraits were awesome! It was a great day on the beach, and the wind was blowing just right along with the sun not being there as much! We picked the perfect time to go...at first, the kids didn't seem like they wanted to do this, all they really wanted to do was play in the water...but let's be serious here, what kid doesn't like to play at the beach!!! But I had a great time shooting these, and they came out great! These photos definitely spell out one word FAMILY!

SevenThirteen's Next Top Model!

Well, well, well....it's been a while since I have posted anything on the blog! I have been super busy, trying to get SevenThirteen out there, so I can accumulate more clients! Hello somebody! While doing so, I had the honor to shoot two models, Nadira and Nani! They were awesome. When I shot Nadira, it was a day I just had to get a good photoshoot out of my system. Those of you that know me, knows that when i get the urge, I get the urge! And Miss Nani I met her at the casting call for ANTM (sn: her picture is on my facebook, the silhouette photo). I knew she would give me a great shoot though. It's something about her look, she has it! I loved interacting with both ladies and I got some awesome photos for proof!
