Dollhouse ReVAMP!

Well it's been a week or two since I have blogged...but I tell you, I haven't had the time! My schedule is so busy at the moment and honestly I'm loving every bit of it. If I'm not taking photos, I'm editing them...my life as a photographer!

So this past Sunday, I had the time of my life photographing four young ladies! Kween, Angelia, Renita, and Katherine! We did this shoot in Ybor at Katherine's studio on the roof top...how cool is that!!! Shanera B brought in her clothing from Royal Ground and we also had an accessory lady there, Jasmine Holt. I love the people I have been meeting. They're so awesome! But anyway, the shoot was a hit, I had a few bystanders there to watch, which really gave me the hype the I needed! LOL...

The shoot was themed doll house, we were supposed to build the inside of the studio like a doll house, but things didn't work out the way I planned. I was a little nervous at first because I had to improvise...but where improvisation comes in, comes the beauty! I love every shot I got and these ladies really worked hard to help me get the look I was going for!

Staying on top of things!

So I have been wrecking my brain trying to figure out how I can stay innovative and fresh or at least think of things with a twist! I think I have found it...not going to let too much out the bag at the moment, but I can assure you its going to be juicy! It will definitely be a "reflection" of SevenThirteen.

This new year is going to be a blast! A fresh year doing what I love to do, PHOTOGRAPHY! Until next time, CLICK!

SevenThirteen all day everyday!

It's a brand new year! SevenThirteen is in full effect...

I AM FOCUSED.
Photography is my life and passion. It is not just my occupation, it is my identity. This is what I do! I have always been focused on creating powerful imagery and building a strong and stable photography business. I believe in setting goals but also being flexible, since flexibility allows me to adapt to the challengers and opportunities that come my way.

I AM AN INNOVATIVE PHOTOGRAPHER.
I love the freedom and creativity I find within photography. No matter what concept I envision and no matter how bizarre, I can create a stunning image to make my fantasies come to life. As a photographer my job is to create beauty. I aim to provide my clients with unique products and one-of-a kind imagery.

I AM CONNECTED.
New media and social networking are essential to my success as a photographer. I use tools like Facebook, Twitter and my blog to share my passion, find new clients and establish my reputation. More importantly, I use them to connect on a more personal level with my clients. New media is the communication tool of today, and I want to be part of that community of sharing.

To all my pass clients, current clients, and future clients...I look forward to working with you and making sure your photos and your photography experience are the best ever! It's a new year and I'm ready to take SevenThirteen to the next level!

Buffalo Soldiers Golf Tournament

So, it's been awhile since I have posted on my blog! I have been so busy with gigs and working. There isn't enough time in one day to get all of this work done, but hey it's what I want! I actually would love to be even busier, but you got to crawl before you walk!
I had the pleasure of photographing a golf tournament for the Buffalo Soldiers! It was pretty cool. I got a chance to meet Miss Florida and Robbie & Ginger Howard! For those of you that aren't too golf savvy, Miss Robbie and Ginger are said to be Venus and Serena on the golf course! It was such an honor to meet those two young ladies with such drive! It was such an experience for me, considering that I was sick the whole time I did it, but when I make a commitment I have to go with that! I'm definitely not complaining at all, because I got to give out business cards for potential customers! Got to love networking!
I hope you all love the pictures as much as I do!

Katherine "Gata" Arce Columbian/Puerto Rican Bombshell!

Man, this girl was on fire! I loved every minute of her shoot. She did everything I asked her to, and she also had some good ideas as well. Not to mention the clothing she was wearing was designed by none other than Ms. Elizabeth Carson Racker. Her clothing was amazing and the clothes photographed so well. The model had a lot to do with that too. We shot at her studio in Ybor City.

I met her at a shoot I was doing for the modeling agency and I couldn't pass up a good opportunity so I got her information and the rest is history! I can't wait to shoot with her again! sn: Take notice of the main picture, that's one of her close ups from the shoot!!!!

My Chic Bad!

My chic bad, my chic hood, my chic do stuff that your chic wish she could!
These photos are from some of the ladies that will be in a fashion show on August 1, 2010 at Club Nouveau! The models were really down to earth and they were really feeling the photoshoot. I love when I have models that don't care what's done as long as they look good in the picture...
These three ladies are the feature in the fashion show, so we had to get a sweet photoshoot going so they fliers will be extra sweet!!!! I think we came up with a good idea....I hope the audience loves it as much as we do!

Rare. Inspirational. Visual. Insight

So I have been shooting for the modeling agency here lately and the photos have been turning out very good. I have had the opportunity to work with a few good models! Although it has been a lot of work for me, I take every experience to be a step toward the better!

The name of the agency is RIVI models which stands for rare. inspirational. visual. insight! Pretty good name, I think! The models are all aspiring models and they definitely fit the name of the agency to a T...Hard work will definitely pay off in the end, I'm sure of this! Some of the models are just now starting out, so it was a little difficult to get in the groove like the rest of them were doing...but once you get in front of my camera as they learned its smooth sailing...I definitely know how to get them to calm down and just go with the flow! It's nothing like being comfortable in order to get the image you want!
